It’s the 21st episode of WoW Pet Battle Crew, so crack open your favorite adult beverage and let’s have a chat about addons. Specifically, the one pet battle addon I’m confident is doing some black magic voodoo on its end to give you information about the pets you’re fighting against in PvP and in PvE.
Best Quest Tracking Classic Addons Quest trackers do just that: they maintain a list of your quests on your screen without you having to go into the Quests section and track quests manually. They don't reveal quest locations or help you find quest goals - they simply list what you need to work on.
It's hard to keep track of which mounts and dungeons/raids I need to farm. Can anyone recommend a good mount collector addon. World of Warcraft on.
Tools WoW Quest Completion Tracker New Blizzard Gear Store Item: Bastion World of Warcraft Framed Art Commemorate your love for the World of Warcraft franchise with this photographic reprint of Bastion.
The addon is called PetTracker, and it does a few awesome things, all focused on helping you find and capture wild pets, and defeat all pets in combat.
What is RareScanner? RareScanner is an addon for World of Warcraft that detects whether a vignette has appeared in the minimap. A vignette is the little icon added in the 5.4 patch that appeared as a skull for a rare, or with other icons for events and treasures in your. The other major addon that you shouldn't be without, Deadly Boss Mods makes World of Warcraft's complex boss fights a little more approachable by providing real-time alerts to keep you one step ahead.

Basic Info
PetTracker was created by Jaliborc, a great addon maker that’s been around for years. If you’re a big addon fan like me, you’ve probably installed one of Jaliborc’s other addons at some point, like Bagnon (which has 17 million total downloads) or OmniCC (13 million downloads).
It’s only hosted on Curse’s addon site. You can download the PetTracker Addon for free.
Created by: Nullberri First released: July 2012 Still maintained? Yes, Jaliborc has done a great job updating the addon–releasing an update every couple weeks, and responding to bugs discovered by players fairly quickly.
What it does
PetTracker is designed to be a bit of a catch-all pet battle addon, trying to provide most everything you need while out and about in search of pet battle glory.
Feature #1: Pet capture tracker
Shows: What pets you can capture
Title feature, but it’s really almost minor
Shows list of what else you need to capture in that zone
Amazing for completionists like me, and I’d guess, like you
Feature #2: Show pet spawn locations on the map
Shows: Where to capture those pets
Includes all pet types: wild pets, holiday and quest rewards, and vendors
Filters available to show what you want
So helpful
Feature #3: Wild pet upgrades
Shows: If there are any higher-quality pets in the enemy team
Sends message to the chat window every time you start a pet battle
Lists every pet on the enemy team, and checks to see if you already own it
If not, it lets you know that it’s a brand new pet
If you do own it, it checks to see if it’s a higher quality than what you’ve already captured, so you can replace yours if it’s better
This isn’t a huge game-changer, but it’s a great reminder that’s saved me from accidentally killing a blue-quality pet while on autopilot-grind mode.
Feature #4: Ability window
Shows: How to beat it and capture it
When you start a match, it shows a big window that displays all 6 pets and their default abilities, with green/red arrows that show which abilities are strong or weak against the active pet
This is a great visual map to scan over when trying to pick out which pet to start with
It’s not perfect because it’s not sure which abilities the enemy pets are using
But it’s much more information than you usually have, and it helps teach you
During the fight, it puts three ability windows that show the default abilities of the pet, and tracks the cooldown on them. This works much better in PVE, where it can track the exact abilities being used
Super useful against trainers as well
Moderately useful in PvP. It tracks half of the abilities, and will often help you learn the cooldowns of abilities, even if it’s not active on the current pet.
Tip and Tricks:
1. Change what pets you’re tracking with the search bar
Type in name or family (critter, aquatic)
Other filters: Name, type, family, source, zones and quality
2. Set up filter for tracking pets based on quality
Missing: for people that want to collect all pets
Not Maximized: for pets that have multiple quality types, shows ones that you don’t have the highest quality for yet
Concerns
I do have one slight concern about this addon that I want to mention. For some reason, it causes my computer to lag out every 10 seconds or so while playing, usually when I’m moving the camera in open world zones. I think it’s scanning pets or something as they’re being loaded on my machine. It’s possible that the lag is caused by some combination of addons on my machine, but I have confirmed that it goes away if I turn off PetTracker.
The addon hasn’t always caused the lag, though–it’s a fairly recent change, and I’m hoping an update will fix it soon. But it’s something to consider when you give the addon a try and possibly notice sometime similar as well.
First Things To Do Once It’s Installed
I usually like to give configuration tips with these addon reviews, to help you customize the options settings to get the most out of the addon. But the thing with PetTracker is that it has no options window. Almost everything is done via that search box window on the map, which I already explained.
The only other options you can tweak are on the map options menu in the bottom-right corner of the map, which lets you tell it to stop trakcing pets entirely — at least temporarily. That same option is also placed on your pet battle window, directly next to your “Find Battle” button.

Dynasty Booster Leveling Addon
This one is currently one of the best selling WoW addons/guides – and for a good reason! It comes from Dynasty addons, and these guys are extremely reliable developers who have been around for over 6 years and came up with some of the best WoW leveling guides and addons.
Basically, Booster is an in-game addon which gives you a separate window with step-by-step instructions helping you level 1-110 as quickly as possible. The path it suggests is super-efficient, meaning no annoying quests that only waste your time!
The addon works for all classes and races, and there are even separate versions for Horde and Alliance, respectively.
If you’re a bit confused and overwhelmed by the game, the Booster addon is for you!
Alternative top WoW leveling addon would be Dugi Guides. Check out why WoW players are going crazy for it! Read the full Dugi Guides review here.
Dynasty’s Tycoon Gold Addon
If you’re looking for one of the best WoW gold guides ever created, this one is your guy.
Best Quest Tracker Addon Wow
Arslan sony tv episode 1. Another pristine example of Dynasty addons, this one is advertised as a streamlined gold making guide. It analyses the game in real time and offers the best wow gold making strategies available for you, considering your game style and character.
Research shows that the Tycoon addons beats some of the other WoW gold addons by 58% when it comes to gold making potential, so if you want to get rich in the game without applying too much effort and wasting time on old useless strategies, the Tycoon addon will soon become your best friend.
Dynasty Impulse Addon
One of the best World of Warcraft addons when it comes to character optimisation, the Impulse addon helps achieve the best build for your character, which can take hours – if not days – if you’re trying to figure it out yourself.
It also gives you convenient, easy to follow recommendations on playing your particular class, which is especially great if you’re a beginner player or want to try a different gaming strategy.
Lastly, as outlined in many WoW addons reviews, Impulse allows for advanced customisation of action bars, making gameplay more efficient than ever.
Deadly Boss Mods
Although this one is not one of the best WoW addons, the Deadly Boss Mods is an absolute beast of an addon. It’s deemed the most popular addon by many WoW addons reviews, which is quite a title, considering how popular WoW is.
The idea is both simple and genius: when you engage a boss mob, this addon displays the next special ability that is going to be executed. This, in turn, lets you quickly determine when to use your special damage reduction abilities with longer cooldown periods.
Cheating? We say efficiency!
Auctionator
This one goes well with any of the WoW gold addons we’ve mentioned. The addon enables you to navigate the auction house easily, auto-searching for the best prices for buying/selling items.
The Auctionator is particularly popular as the auction house is an absolute nightmare to navigate. No more scrolling through hundreds of pages or anxiously trying to calculate prices and profits, because nobody has time for that!
Recount
Recount is one of the so-called damage meter addons, and it made it to this list of the best World of Warcraft addons due to its striking simplicity. Recount conveniently tracks all the damage output from each member of the party through every single fight and each dungeon. The addon also provides a breakdown of the damage inflicted by every ability, as well as pets (if you have any of those). If you’re more of a visual person, there are some basic graphs available as well!
A true delight for control freaks.
World Quest Tracker
Quite obviously, the World Quest Tracker tracks the new World Quests. These are great because they give you better gear, resources, power and such. Fn 1922 pistol serial numbers a prefix. The addon accumulates all the WQ’s available on the day sans annoying zone scrolling, allowing to select the ones you like and filter out the rest.
Once you try this one, you will never go back to vanilla quest searching – trust us. We’ve tested so much stuff while working on this top WoW addons guide, after all.
Bagnon
This is another simple and elegant feature consolidating all your bag windows into one. Having to load a separate window for each personal bag is quite ridiculous, which is exactly why Bagnon exists.
By the way, it also pulls together your bank and guild inventory – so navigation has never been easier. You’re welcome.
Wow Legendary Tracker Addon List
Bartender4
This addon with a weird name concludes our cheat-sheet of the top WoW addons. Bartender4 is an optimisation tool which lets you move and customize all your action bars, pet bars, stance bars, bag windows and other stuff. There are other addons like that which also have more features, but we still like this one more as it’s simple and not even a tiny bit overwhelming.
We hope you enjoyed our cheat-sheet, which includes the best WoW addons reviews!
